FLIGHT OPERATIONS OFFICER - HUMBERSIDE AIRPORT
FLIGHT OPERATIONS OFFICER – HUMBERSIDE AIRPORT
Weston Aviation is looking to recruit a Flight Operations Officer to join our busy Flight Operations team at Humberside Airport.
The role requires a hands-on approach combining working outside in a busy airport operations environment with supporting office-based Flight Operations administrative duties.
Although previous experience working in an aviation environment is preferred, our ideal candidate is someone with a passion to deliver exceptional levels of customer service, happy to work outside in all weathers, and is professional, friendly with a positive, can-do attitude.
Full training will be given.
Main roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Processing handling requests
- Meeting and greeting VIP passengers and crew
- Marshalling and chocking aircraft
- Daily administrative duties as required
- Dealing efficiently with phone enquiries
- Arranging flight support services, such as fuel, catering, etc..
- Preparing flight documents for crew
- Invoice preparation
Individual Requirements
- A passion of delivering exceptional levels of Customer Services
- Previous experience within an aviation environment is desired
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent personal presentation
- Telephone manner and written communications are to be polished and accurate
- Willingness to work shifts and have a flexible response to short notice operational changes
- Strong team player
This is a full time contract (40 hours per week) on a shift pattern that will include early morning, late evening and weekend working. You will be provided with a company phone to provide out of hours phone and email Flight Operations support, which is shared on a rotation basis with the team. Company uniform is also provided. We also offer a competitive salary and other benefits.
You will require a full UK driving licence and be able to provide a Basic Criminal Check (DBS) and a five year background check. A medical is also required.
